The tool allows patients in medical consultations to describe symptoms in the context of Non-Communicable Chronic Diseases (NCDs), which can improve diagnostic accuracy, promote greater autonomy, and humanize care. Although focused on NCDs, the tool can be expanded to other areas. Future improvements include suggestions or auto-completion of phrases and the conversion of the constructed text into synthetic speech. Este artigo apresenta o desenvolvimento da Ferramenta Assistiva Medica de Contexto Específico em Libras (FAMCEL), que facilita a comunicação entre surdos e profissionais de saúde, traduzindo Libras para o português escrito. A ferramenta permite que pacientes em consultas medicas descrevam sintomas no contexto de Doenças Cronicas Não Transmissíveis (DCNTs), o que pode melhorar a precisão no diagnostico, promover maior autonomia e humanizar o atendimento. Embora focada nas DCNTs, a ferramenta pode ser expandida para outras áreas.
