The following paper objective is to quantitatively analyze the female occupation in the Brazil constitutional court, considering aspects as gender and race, as well as the progress brought by the inclusion of womens in jurisdictional instances of power, aiming to understand in what extent the representation of women in the Supreme Court contributes to the consolidation of feminist constitutionalism and to the strengthening of the democratic institutions in Brazil, as well as questioning whether the lack of diversity in the composition of the Court contributes to a stagnation in debates on gender and racial justice, leading to a possible compromisation of its legitimacy. O presente trabalho é fruto de um estudo sobre o processo de fundação do Supremo Tribunal Federal como produto baseado em constructos liberais e patriarcais o qual, sistematicamente, gera a perpetuação do silenciamento de parte da população, posto a sub-representatividade de mulheres na corte, sobretudo em seu sentido interseccional, fato que contribui, ainda mais, para análises e interpretações jurídicas e políticas unidimensionais, androcêntricas e majoritariamente brancas, desconectadas da realidade social. Têm-se como objetivo, analisar quantitativamente a ocupação feminina na corte constitucional do país, considerando o recorte de gênero e raça, assim como os avanços acarretados pela inclusão de mulheres nas instâncias jurisdicionais de poder, com vistas a concluir em que medida a representação de mulheres no Supremo Tribunal Federal contribui para a consolidação do constitucionalismo feminista e para o fortalecimento do regime político democrático no Brasil, assim como questionar se a falta de diversidade na composição da Corte contribue para uma estagnação nos debates sobre justiça de gênero e racial, acarretando um possível comprometimento de sua legitimidade. 2024-11-26T14:28:30Z 2024-11-26T14:28:30Z 2024-07-09 Trabalho de Curso - Graduação - Artigo FURTADO, Monalisa de Miranda.
