The emphasis is placed on the Urban form as a starting point for the discussion of the metropolitan restructuring of Belém, Ananindeua and the neighborhood of the New City, on na Amazonian context, And on the dialectic of the relationship between structure and action as a possible way To carry out this type of analysis. O trabalho discute sobre a Gentrificação no Conjunto Cidade Nova, em Ananindeua – PA. A pesquisa realizada buscou compreender a gentrificação sobre as cidades da Amazônia, como a Região Metropolitana de Belém, consecutivamente com o processo de gentrificação na cidade de Ananindeua, em específico, o bairro da Cidade Nova. Tendo em vista essa preocupação, foi estabelecido o seguinte objetivo: entender o processo e o conceito de gentrificação como temática atual para contextualizá-lo e apresentá-lo. Houve uma concentração de pesquisas na cidade de Ananindeua e seu bairro Cidade Nova, descrevendo os parâmetros obtidos por esse conceito, apresentando as experiências mais icônicas da gentrificação dessa região e a sua relação com os conceitos e processos. Na discussão, a análise é posicionada da perspectiva teórica e metodológica da produção social do espaço e enumeram as categorias, conceitos e noções consideradas importantes para a compreensão da questão. Portanto, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico para encontrar as possíveis respostas levantadas sobre as hipóteses.
