Este trabalho tem como finalidade investigar a história e a transformação da Quadrilha Flor do Candorina da cidade de Curuçá - Pa, desde a sua fundação em 2003 até o ano de 2013. A pesquisa trata de um levantamento histórico-descritivo-analítico de caráter qualitativo. Para isso, se fez necessário contextualizar historicamente a quadrilha, reconhecendo a influência recebida de outras danças, apontando as características gerais da Quadrilha Roceira para então fazer a análise e a descrição da história da Quadrilha Flor do Candorina de Curuçá - Pará. O Horizonte teórico está ancorado nos autores LEAL (2004), AMARAL (2012) e CHIANCA (2014).
