This paper has as aim to analyze the index of security work and installation of the Electrical power dealership Centrais Eletricas do Para (CELPA) in State of Para in the period since 2011 to 2014. The research was conducted through a survey of quantitative indicators data of Safety of work and CELPA dealership installations in the state of Para, obtained by the Aneel site consultation, which provides for public consultation information related to Work Safety of the energy sector and its installations. Data were worked in Microsoft 2013 spreadsheet 15.0.4551.1011, grouped by year and averaged. Each index was calculated by ANEEL using specific calculations for each indicator. The results were exposed in data and graphics, presenting the contents of each annual period. The analysis of indicator data analyzed for severity of work accidents in the electricity sector. During the years 2013 and 2014 were recorded the highest accident rates considered serious, 1718,52 and 2563,21, respectively. Analyzed for frequency of work accidents in the energy sector it is possible to identify that since 2012, CELPA has reported a higher frequency of accidents year by year. The annual index of the number of deaths of employees of CELPA arising from workplace accidents, there is only one death in the range of the last 5 years. Aneel considers only the records made by the dealership, with a risk of underreporting. The death records of outsourced employees of CELPA arising from workplace accidents, are higher than in the period of own employees’ death records, one sees an increase in the number of deaths over the years. The annual index of number of accidents with third parties, it is observed that the number of reported accidents has been reduced over the years in Para. In Brazil, from 2011 to 2015 were recorded on average 814 accidents per year, according to ANEEL data. The annual index of deaths with third parties, it is observed that the number of reported accidents has been reduced over the years in Para. CELPA needs to implement its security because the indexes point that there is much to be performed, especially when we look at the exposure of the general population the risk of accidents, in many times being fatal. Investing in awareness campaigns and greater supervision of the competent agenciesfrom the electricity dealerships are essential for them to begin to give more importance to the safety of the public and its employees.
