Study that intends to verify the existence of spatial logic between deforestation and slave work in Legal Amazon. For that, the procedures cataloged as slave work by Ministério Público Federal and the data of the last Imazon’s report about deforestation, both referring to the years 2017 and 2018, were analyzed. Based on that, it was intended to answer to what extent the activity of expansion of Amazon’s frontier, specifically deforestation in Legal Amazon area, is linked to slave work. The results indicated that the contemporary slavery and illegal deforestation are correlate issues of territorial planning in Amazon. It is a documental research, quanti-qualitative, done under the inductive method. |
