This educational product (PE) is the result of a research developed in the Professional Master's Course of the Postgraduate Program in Technological Teaching (PPGET), of the Federal Institute of
Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM), and aims to enable undergraduate students for the autonomous elaboration of teaching and class planning, subsidized by reverse planning. We
can understand reverse planning as an approach to planning teaching, organized in three stages: 1) identifying the desired outcomes; 2) determine acceptable evidence; and, 3) plan learning and instructional experiences. The central focus of reverse planning is to promote teaching for understanding, that is, teaching that allows students to make connections and organize their knowledge in a way that makes learning meaningful. Since the primary target audience for this product is undergraduate students, therefore, adult learners, this material brings together a set of resources that enable them to autonomously understand the meaning of planning and the approach to reverse planning, as well as put the concepts in practice in the elaboration of the teaching plan. In summary, this product was conceived from a “hands-on” perspective to help undergraduate students in their self-directed learning to iteratively and incrementally develop their teaching planning. This product can be
equally useful to professors who work as professors in Licentiate Courses and who wish to adopt it as a teaching material to deal with concepts and practices related to the elaboration of teaching and
class planning. It can also be adopted by beginning and veteran teachers interested in the subject and who wish to develop their teaching planning from the perspective of reverse planning. |
