The course 3D PRINTING FOR TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF
BIOLOGY is a tool designed to guide students' study of the
discipline of cytology, inserted in Biology. The course encourages
students' interest and curiosity through 3D printing technology, as
well as helping them to engage in project solutions in the
classroom, using techniques embedded in project-based learning.
This educational product aims to help high school and college
teachers with information and guidance on how to optimize the
application of their discipline and expand the learning process
through technology. The tools presented in this educational
product (video classes, handouts, website, etc.) provide
pedagogical guidelines that should help the teacher to
understand the universe of 3D printing, main equipment, best
practices, operationalization, printing and application of contents
on cytology, with support of printed artifacts and an interactive
and challenging lesson plan. All these elements are dealt with
throughout this product and can be adapted by the teacher.
