The present study analyzes Gender, sex and sexuality in the third age. Understanding the conditions of older
women regarding sex and sexuality, considering the socio-cultural context of machismo and prejudices in
relation to gender "Social Papers". Study conducted at the State Center for the Coexistence of the Elderly (CECI)
Aparecida-Am 2014. Having as social agents six women between the ages of sixty and eighty, who are members
of the elderly 's cohabitation center and participants in the Iucanas Toribas photo essay. It was found that 100%
of the participants consider the sex important in the third age, the sexual relations in this phase are surrounded of
a set of sensations, related to the companionship, respect and love and sex. |
