The objective of this work is to present the analysis of the implementation of equipment
to improve the efficiency of the packaging process of a component of a lighter
manufacturer company in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, in order to increase
productivity and reduce operating costs in the aforementioned process. . Regarding
the methodology, a qualitative research was used, as the phenomena and occurrences
were analyzed based on data collected in the process through the use of quality tools.
The study of the process data indicated great operational underutilization caused by
the long unproductive time in the packaging process and presented expressive results
after the implementation of the automatic packaging machine. Thus, it was important
to note that, in certain processes, it is necessary to equip the line with robust machinery
in order to obtain the best use of available labor. The results also indicated that the
applied improvement substantially reduced the number of activities performed by the
operator, as well as the packaging time. |
