This work aims to study the influence of Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation (PIBID) on the initial training of students of the Degree course in Chemistry, Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas. It is intended to investigate whether PIBID can strengthen the relationship between the theory and practice of undergraduate students in Chemistry. Also investigate the impact of PIBID on decision-making in following the teaching profession. The research was qualitative, with the questionnaire as a data collection instrument. Data analysis was performed based on two thematic categories: Knowledge and teaching practice; Knowledge and professional training. Based on the positive results of the research, as shown in the data, the PIBID has demonstrated over the years,
important contributions to the teaching and initial training of undergraduates, providing professional and academic maturity. The PIBID has been helping in the development of teaching practice as it provides teachers in training with early contact with reality and the school environment, in doing so, in doing so associates the theory obtained at the university with the real experience of practice, which contributes to the training of qualified professionals and with the ability to interfere in the context of school. |
