The general objective of this study is to describe the process of automating the palletizing process of evaporators on a production line, using the technologies from the pillars of Industry 4.0. The research methodology respects the characteristics of descriptive research, with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the automation of the evaporator palletizing process, by adopting Industry 4.0 technologies, brought significant improvements in operational efficiency and work safety. A substantial reduction in cycle time and improvement in process accuracy and consistency were observed, which corroborates the hypothesis that the integration of advanced automation and control systems, together with intuitive human-machine interfaces, leads to an increase in productivity. |
