Resumo:
he proposal presented in this material is intended to contribute to the teaching of botany in the middle level technical courses in the Environment of IFAM. This material counts on the planning of the didactic strategies and material resources that can be used in the classes that relate to the contents of Botany in the course, being able to contribute to a better learning in the area in question. The plans are available both here and on the website that was created to disseminate this work. The sequence of didactic modalities included theoretical classes, workshop classes, use of audio-visual resources that are the videos and animations and the application of a game of board and digital contemplating concepts of the Botany. The game presented here has the objective of teaching and at the same time providing its players with additional information regarding the morphological characteristics of some species that are found in the IFAM-CMC garden, and the ecological interactions that occur within and depend on it. The reason that led us to build such a resource rests on the need to bring to the content means that attract students to this kind of subject, which is often dealt with in a theoretical way. "The didactic games are tools to dynamize the class, and function as a pedagogical support to the teacher in order to promote students' motivation, interaction and participation in the discussions. Thus, making the classroom a pleasant and attractive environment [...] ". (ANTUNES, 1998, p.35). Still pondering this perspective, we understand that this is one of the innumerable ways that can have positive effects in teaching the chosen theme. The material is available in two formats. One of them was produced in the form of a board, because the idea is that the material is taken to the classroom so that the students can interact with other colleagues. And the other was produced in Scracth software, which enables another game idea, the virtual one. And in this modality, the student will be able to interact with the computer in the institution or at home, depending on the moment and intention of the teacher towards the group in which he will be acting. The videos cover concepts aimed at the dispersion of fruits and seeds, photosynthesis, pollination and evolution of terrestrial plants. The board game consists of a polyethylene canvas board. Printed on this material we can see a representation of IFAM's main garden, containing some plant species that were used in the proposal. On the board, 22 houses were inserted, where players can pass and answer questions that will be presented as they progress through the game. The paper dolls, which will be their avatars, cards containing the characteristics of the chosen species, will be part of the game, and through these questions the participant will learn more about them and also what kind of ecological interaction exists in that environment. In this material we provide the plans, address of the videos, website address, the board, the letters-questions, the bonus and burden letters, the tips, the avatars and the rules of the game. We hope that this proposal is widely used and that it brings you teacher and student a good learning!
