The high productivity of an industrial production line is the desire of all large,
medium and small companies. Because if the line operates at its maximum
performance, it will deliver a larger quantity of products to the market, within all
its quality specifications, lower costs, generating the profit expected by the
factory. But, over the years, the equipment on the production line deteriorates,
until it reaches a point where it is not possible to deliver the expected demand.
With that, this work will present a methodology that seeks to restore the
performance of this production line, seeking to identify the problem, treat root
causes, solve anomalies, aiming to leave the production line with a high
efficiency, minimizing production costs, improving the work environment for the
operator, generating profit for the company and meeting consumer needs with
quality. Then, from this project, it was possible to elaborate the standard,
describing the step-by-step to be followed, so that the proposed objective is
achieved, which is to improve the availability of a production line. Where this
standard was applied and its efficiency of analysis and problem solving was
verified.
