The Tesla valve is a mechanism that does not require moving parts for its operation,
so it has advantages over conventional check valves. The little available literature
was evidenced because it is not frequently applied to fluid flow problems. In this
work, we seek a simulative approach combined with the scarce bibliography
available on this subject. In order to obtain some results in the use of programs
related to Finite Element that use a numerical mesh related to the calculation of Fluid
Mechanics, this can be noticed in the final considerations and in the choice of the
best constructions of the studied models. Finally, it is noticed that the construction of
a model, depending on the application, becomes opportune in order to improve the
performance of the valve. |
