The present work is about describing the factory update of an important industry in the two-wheel segment that the focus was the reduction of defects with the automation upgrade in two different processes, which have become one, improving efficiency and defect rate in the final product. Specifically, it talks about the unification of a glue application machine used in the sealing between two housings and about a laser engraving machine and how its unification has improved defect rates and reduced cost with waste. It shows that automation is not a static discipline, but that it can be constantly updated, increasingly increasing production efficiency, ensuring quality products and keeping the company highly competitive in the market. |
