Faced with this, many teachers do not use the experimental class in their daily lives, but can use other means to overcome these difficulties. The video is a tool of information technologies and communication, which this work intends to show as a viable alternative for the teaching of inorganic chemical reactions. In this way, a video with an approximate duration of 10 minutes was produced on this subject, which was applied in a class of the 1st year of high school integrated in Informatics in the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas. First of all, a diagnostic questionnaire was applied before the video and an evaluative questionnaire after the video, in order to verify what contributions this tool has in the teaching-learning process of this content. In the face of the difficulty that students have about Chemical Reactions, many times, related to the fact that it requires them knowledge at macroscopic level, microscopic and symbolic, can be seen through the results obtained in the questionnaires, a significant evolution in learning content, the notes of the evaluative questionnaire showed a 100% increase on the notes of the diagnostic questionnaire. It can be seen, therefore, that video can be used as an educational tool that contributes effectively to teaching and can substitute experimental classes with even certain advantages in relation to them. Aulas experimentais são essenciais no processo ensino-aprendizagem, seja para qualquer disciplina e em qualquer nível de escolaridade, a prática desperta no aluno maior interesse e envolvimento no conteúdo, porém de modo geral, a maioria dos ambientes escolares se depara com certas dificuldades em sua execução, principalmente em disciplinas como a química que tem como obstáculos: a ausência de um laboratório adequado, falta de reagentes e equipamentos e o pouco tempo disponível para executar os procedimentos de modo seguro. Diante disso, muitos professores não usam a aula experimental em seu cotidiano, porém podem utilizar outros meios para suprir essas dificuldades. O vídeo é uma ferramenta das tecnologias de informação e comunicação, que este trabalho pretende mostrar como uma alternativa viável para o ensino de reações químicas inorgânicas. Desta forma, foi produzido um vídeo com duração aproximada de 10 minutos sobre este assunto, o qual foi aplicado numa turma do 1º ano do ensino médio integrado em Informática no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Amazonas. Inicialmente foi aplicado um questionário diagnóstico antes do vídeo e um questionário avaliativo após o vídeo, a fim de verificar quais contribuições esta ferramenta tem no processo ensino-aprendizagem deste conteúdo. Diante da dificuldade que os alunos têm sobre as Reações Químicas, muitas das vezes, relacionadas ao fato de esta exigir deles conhecimento em nível macroscópico, microscópico e simbólico, pôde-se observar através dos resultados obtidos nos questionários que houve uma evolução importante quanto ao aprendizado do conteúdo, as notas do questionário avaliativo mostraram um aumento de 100% sobre as notas do questionário diagnóstico.
