Due to the need to understand and maintain the necessary nutritional balance
conditions in animal production, the objective of this study was to determine the
profile of the main American biochemical variables and to evaluate how the nutritional
and physiological variables of these individuals are met in relation to this alternative
way. The experiment was conducted in the Bubalinoculture sector of the Department
of Animal Science, Laboratory of Metabolic and Nutritional Diseases of the
Department of Veterinary Medicine and at the Center for Analytical Chemistry of the
Research Support Center (CENAPESQ), both from the Federal Rural University of
Pernambuco (UFRPE). . Nineteen new Murrah buffaloes with initial mean body
weight (CP) of 210 ± 50 kg were used. The animals were weighed, used and
deminerated before the beginning of the experimental period and housed in individual
stalls, individual feeders and tonnage drinkers for two animals. The study lasted 62
days, from July 26 to September 26, 2019. It was found that the provision of
sugarcane-based diet supplemented with increasing urea levels of 0, 0.7, 1, 4 and
2.1% for murrah buffalo heifers negatively influence the weight gain of these animals,
and linearly increase serum urea and urea nitrogen (BUN) concentration, does not
affect energy, protein, mineral metabolism and enzymatic activity. Therefore, it does
not recommend the use of sugarcane diets with the urea use ranges to murrah
buffalo heifers using weight gain. M But an experimental diet is recommended as an
alternative food maintenance alternative, which can be used both as an economically
viable option for the monetary value of its components, and as a valuable food
source applied to scarce food. foods and regions that highlighted the production of
national sugarcane, especially the northeast of Brazil. |
