Resumo:
The elevation of the level of the waters of the Madeira River in the year 2014 invaded the water bodies of the urban area of the municipality of Humaitá-AM, causing the impediment of the flow causing flood, and consequently impacts of large socio-environmental. In the study of environmental impacts geoprocessing in the use of its attributions is configured as an essential tool for non-structural measures generating significant information on the regional geomorphological and climatic situation. Therefore, the objective of the research is to use geoprocessing tools and geotechnologies to assist in the mapping of areas of vulnerability to floods, specifically in a neighborhood of the urban area of the municipality of Humaitá – Amazonas, and from this characterization elaborate on a flood spot map to punctuate areas that are often punished by flood. The assigned methodology consists of surface data processing through field recognition by drone and common GPS and laboratory procedure using software such as Google Earth pro and Global Mapper 20.1. According to the methodological procedure developed in the research, as a result it was possible to identify the affected areas by the elaboration of the flood spot model, through the treatment of the data generated in the flood spot map, which will serve as an incentive in the decisions as a subsidy for a non-structural measure, for the continuous monitoring of vulnerability areas and for ensuring social mobility
