The Oil and Gas industry is always on the lookout for new technological investments to improve, correct or facilitate the obstacles encountered, one of the difficulties present in the process are the blockages caused by hydrates that are nothing more than crystals formed by a minimum quantity of water in a gas production, that exposed to low temperature and high pressure solidify by interrupting the flow in the ducts. In order to facilitate the flow in the duct, several techniques have been developed to act before and after the formation of the hydrate and one of them is the hydrate inhibitors. Thus, this work aims to gather information about these chemical agents, helping the user in choosing the best inhibitor, in the calculation of concentration, quantity and cost, depending on the field data. Applying python concepts in a text editor, we obtained a web-based computational tool capable of finding the types of inhibitors, concentration, quantity, injection rate and cost of operation from the input parameters. |
