Introduction: An adequate food model prioritizes the consumption of regional products. Defining reference portions can help to avoid nutritional excesses and deficits. Objective: Develop a proposal for reference portions of regional foods considering the Amazonian food pattern, health promotion and prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases. Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study that used information from tables of the proximate composition of foods. They were categorized by the proposed Amazonian food pattern (SILVA; VIEIRA, 2020) through studies by (AGUIAR, 2019), whose main focus is the table of proximate composition of foods from the Amazon and from Mata (2012) with the foods listed with their home measurements values. Results: Tables were prepared with food and household measures with average equivalence. Conclusion: the tables prepared contain data that will contribute to the indications of food substitutions in food plans with regional products, especially in plans for people with chronic non-communicable diseases. They will also allow for the continuity of analyzes and the elaboration of equivalence tables not only for energy, but for other nutrients.
