The theoretical reference will cover topics such as a brief history of early childhood education in Brazil, the Montessori method, the contribution of playful architecture to learning and the relationship between nature and the school environment. These topics were chosen to broaden the knowledge about the concepts that will guide the project. Besides the theory, three projects will be analyzed as study objects with the theme of children's architecture and the application of Montessori principles in architecture. Next, there will be a study of the area where the developed project will be implemented. The land is located in the city of Manaus, in the Chapada neighborhood, at Avenida Constantino Nery. Maps will be analyzed, such as zoning and building fuction, environmental conditioning factors, building height and the road system. After analyzing all these elements, the development of the daycare center project is presented, which, besides the final considerations, will include floor plans, sections, elevations, and perspectives. The architecture of the place will be the basis for the children's empowerment, as it will allow the application of the method, clearly showing that school architecture and pedagogy go hand in hand, and that the quality of the building interferes in the learning, in the exploration of knowledge and behavior. O presente trabalho propõe desenvolver um projeto arquitetônico de creche e pré-escola em que será utilizada uma abordagem alternativa ao sistema tradicional de ensino, visando a partir dos primeiros momentos de vida de uma criança, de zero a cinco anos, usar um método que permite seu desenvolvimento não apenas no contexto da alfabetização, mas também na autonomia, na liberdade e na criação de seus interesses, valores e percepções. Na referência teórica serão abordados temas como um breve histórico da educação infantil no Brasil, o método Montessori, a contribuição da arquitetura lúdica para a aprendizagem e a relação da natureza com o ambiente escolar. Esses temas foram escolhidos para ampliar o conhecimento sobre os conceitos que nortearão o projeto. Além da teoria, serão analisados três projetos como objetos de estudo com o tema da arquitetura infantil e a aplicação dos princípios Montessori na arquitetura. Em seguida, haverá um levantamento da área onde o projeto desenvolvido será implantado. O terreno está localizado na cidade de Manaus no bairro Chapada, na Avenida Constantino Nery. Serão analisados mapas como uso e ocupação do solo, condicionantes ambientais, gabaritos e sistema viário. Diante da análise de todos esses elementos, apresenta-se o desenvolvimento do projeto da creche, que, além das considerações finais, contemplará plantas, cortes, elevações e perspectivas.
