Resumo:
The research aims to discuss the social rights of Venezuelan migrants on Brazilian soil and the reception they received in Brazil, highlighting the municipality of Manaus. While about 1.8 million refugees have arrived in Europe since 2015, the migration crisis in Venezuela has caused more than 2.3 million migrants to flee extreme poverty in just two years. The South American nation was surprised by this unprecedented wave of immigration. From this perspective, we seek to understand the trajectories of Venezuelan migrants and the difficulties encountered in the immigration process, observing the inequality and incompatibility of public policies with Venezuelan immigrants, emphasizing the role of social assistance policies in guaranteeing the basic rights of Venezuelan migrants. This research explains its theoretical by breaking it down into simpler parts under the lens of critical analysis. As for the methodological procedures, the study was developed through bibliographic and documentary reviews, which included analysis of monthly reports made available by the OBMigra website. Therefore, the research seeks to contribute to students and professionals of Social Service, users and other social divisions, so that they can act more vehemently in enabling the rights of migrants.
