The present work presents the internship reports of teaching Libras as L1 and L2 from the
Literature course – Libras, at the Federal University of Amazonas – UFAM. It was based on
the authors Dorziat (1999), Ciccone (1996), Guarinello (2007), Lacerda (1998), Gorski;
Freitag (2010) and Kalatai; Streiechen (2012) for teaching L1 and the authors Felipe (2006),
Gesser (2010) and Brown (1994) for teaching L2. The adopted methodology was the
observation of remote classes, for the L1 internship, and in-person for the L2 internship,
between the months of August and November. In the L1 internship, the 11 guest teachers, all
deaf, reported their experiences in the classroom and what teaching methodologies/strategies
they use with deaf students. In the L2 internship, we were able to observe their teaching
methodologies and practices in person at the Centro Cultaral Aníbal Beça with 2 teachers, a
listener and a deaf person. After analyzing the two internship reports, the main objectives of
this work were reached, which was the conclusion of the course and learning of teaching
methodologies to act as a Libras teacher. |
