The development of this project, shown throughout the magazine, comprised the history of the course of Architecture and Urbanism in Brazil, from its inception to the present day, and was inspired by several professionals graduated since then. To create a new teaching institution, we sought to understand the course since its inception to rescue the base principles of Architecture and then, merge them with the current needs of the area and the target audience, considering yet the climatic characteristic of the Amazon region and the importance of using new sources of sustainable materials. For this, it was essential to research and understand how each material responds to the action of the sun on the implanted terrain, and the necessary artifices to circumvent the problem. O trabalho foi idealizado a partir da necessidade de criação de uma Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo que atendesse às demandas exigidas pelo curso e que não são atendidas pelas instituições que o ofertam no Estado do Amazonas. O desenvolvimento deste projeto, mostrado no decorrer da revista, compreendeu a história do curso de Arquitetura e Urbanismo no Brasil, desde seu surgimento até os dias de hoje, e foi inspirado por diversos profissionais formados desde então. Para a criação de uma nova instituição de ensino, buscou-se compreender o curso desde seu surgimento, para resgatar os princípios-base da Arquitetura e, então, mesclá-los com as necessidades atuais da área e do público-alvo, considerando, inclusive, a característica climática da região amazônica e a importância do uso de novas fontes de materiais sustentáveis.
