The aim of this review was to map the types of therapeutic exercises that are used for individuals with stroke sequelae in the home context. This is a scoping review of the literature prepared according to the JBI Collaboration (JBI) methodology and the PRISMA-ScR was followed. Studies carried out in individuals with ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke sequelae were considered, regardless of gender and age, which used therapeutic exercises as a concept of interest and performed in the clinical home context, in any geographic and socioeconomic context, published in any language and on any publication date. A search of information sources CINAHL, EMBASE, Google Scholar, LILACS, MEDLINE, PEDro, SciELO and Web of Science was carried out, from the beginning until June to august 2022. The Rayyan application was used for the study selection process, the selection was carried out by two reviewers independently. Data extraction was performed using a data extraction form prepared by the reviewers themselves. A total of 1,389 records were identified in searches of information sources, which after the selection process resulted in five studies included with a combined sample of 306 participants. There was heterogeneity in the types of exercises used for participants with stroke sequelae, with muscle strengthening exercises, balance exercises, exercises associated with aerobic activities, exercises associated with dance, among others. |
