Resumo:
Brazil is immensely fortunate in terms of hydrological resources, 12% of all the water on the planet is found in this region, making the country one of the largest sources of fresh water in the world. But even with all this potential, Brazil still ranks eighth among the world's largest producers of freshwater fish. This reality is due to constant financial difficulties, little political and technological investment and low automation in sectors that serve small and medium fishermen, corroborating for delay in production and consequently little profit and visibility for this modality. For this reason, this project aims to develop an automated monitoring system for fish farming environments using the internet of things, characterized by three integrated modules that aim to assist in the monitoring and control of the fish and shellfish farming environment, with a focus on in ensuring quality and improving decision-making aimed at small and medium-sized producers, automating tools that already help aquaculturists, but which are operated manually. The prototype was tested in a controlled environment where the data collection behavior and the use of the human-machine interface were observed. The results present positive perspectives for the area, contemplating local needs and serving as a privilege for carrying out new trips involving the theme.
