The undeniable importance of Amazonian biodiversity as well as the region's infrastructural
peculiarities raise the challenges of undertaking business in the region. The so-called
Amazonian cost has a direct and indirect impact on investment decisions in the region. To do
so, we aim to analyze the Amazonian cost of undertaking in the greenest region of Brazil. As
for the methodological aspects, we have a study of a qualitative nature, from secondary sources
of bibliographical and documental origin, with the use of information from articles, academic
works and books of great relevance for the content analysis. Factors such as: basic costs of
displacement, logistics, energy distribution, as well as communication and connectivity,
contribute to scare away investments in the region, hamper development and increase inequality
and the regional abyss. Thus, regional entrepreneurship and overcoming the Amazonian cost
become essential for strengthening the economy and generating employment and sustainable
income.
