This education is also responsible for the process of valuing the indigenous identity, considering that it provides the transmission of values and culture in such a way that the new generations can rework their understanding of the composition of the current society. With this in mind, this research aimed to map the intellectual productions on indigenous school education in the national events of the National Association of Graduate Studies - ANPED in all its working groups in the period from 2007 to 2017, with specific focus on the analysis regarding the quantity, issues addressed, methodological processes adopted, and the institutions that developed these Works. It is observed from the data that research on indigenous school education is still incipient, throughout the research we identified a total of 34 (thirty-four) papers in 10 (ten) years. A presente pesquisa objetivou mapear as produções intelectuais sobre educação escolar indígena nos eventos nacionais da Associação Nacional de pós-graduação – ANPED em todos os seus grupos de trabalho no período de 2007 a 2017, com foco específico na análise a respeito do quantitativo, das questões abordadas, processos metodológicos adotados e as instituições que desenvolveram estes trabalhos. Partimos da concepção de que a educação escolar é uma das principais preocupações ligadas à luta dos indígenas para garantir seus direitos, sendo estes conquistados com muita luta a partir de 1988 com a Constituição Federal. Essa educação é também a responsável pelo processo de valorização da identidade indígena, tendo em vista que a mesma propicia a transmissão de valores e da cultura de forma com que as novas gerações possam reelaborar as compreensões a respeito da composição da sociedade atual.
