This research on religious Christian art in the Parintinense context and its artistic
intersections, borders the relationship between art in Parintins with the colonization
process and the arrival of PIME missionaries, raising artistic intersections with
religiosity. The method used was bibliographical research, semi-structured interviews
and photographic documents. The texts also deal with religious and Christian art in
history, focusing on the artists' relationship with religiosity, their productions whether
at the festival or at the feast of Our Lady, in addition to thematic choices and cultural
traditions. |
