Understanding the importance of affective bonds that permeate teacher-student relationships is essential for educational practices to contribute to the integral development of the child. This study aimed to understand the influence of the affective bond in early childhood education, focusing on the Amazonian context based on reflections on the importance of affection for learning in early childhood education and identifying the role of early childhood education schools in affective development. The qualitative approach research presents the results of a literature review that was carried out in databases on academic productions focused on affection practices in early childhood education schools in Amazonas, in order to seek to deepen if these practices are present in the Amazonian context and how they can be leveraged. The results found were of paramount importance for a deeper understanding of how this process of affective exchange takes place in the school environment of schools in the state of Amazonas, in different contexts, such as indigenous schools, for example. The study contributed to the discussion that it is necessary to develop an affective pedagogy, cooperating for the development of the child in its multiple dimensions.
