The media product “Radio journalism after the internet: scenarios, practices and perspectives in Parintins (AM)” was built with the objective of portraying, through audio reports, the digital culture scenario that the region presents, the local radio practices, as well as as the perspective of listeners who follow not only the radio, but also the changes in society. The radio documentary aimed to present a local parameter about the way in how Parintins radio stations, in particular Rádio Clube, present themselves in the digital environment. The research was theoretically supported by studies that address concepts of radio journalism, discussed by authors such as Luiz Arthur Ferraretto (2014), Gisela Swetlana Ortiwano (2003) and Rachel Severo Alves Neuberger (2012), as well as studies on media and radio convergence by Marcelo Kischinhevsky (2016). The study starts from the observation that the municipality of Parintins is not exempt from social transformations, and the radio is still the main means of local communication. The main objective of the search for reports from listeners, professional journalists and the director of Rádio Clube de Parintins was to show how the station in question behaves in a scenario of convergence, in which interactions and searches for information take place both through the digital environment, as well as the traditional ways. The construction of the radio documentary pointed to three essential points, which are: 1) a scenario of innovation, but also of deficiencies in relation to internet instability in Parintins; 2) professional practices that shape an updated and humanized look in relation to the new possibilities of production; 3) perspectives of a municipality that mixes new forms of communication with traditional forms. |
