Motion graphics lives in the hybridism between design and animation, and this trait makes it the most powerful way of communication possible, as every second communicates effectively and efficiently, whether in its imagery, sound, or movement. But despite all this communicational power, motion graphics is still not perceived as a narrative piece, being primarily associated with the areas in which it is inserted, such as broadcasting, for example. With that in mind, seeking to highlight its narrative characteristic, this modern medium of communication was united with the most traditional medium of communication in a culture, its folklore, and in this case, Amazonian folklore, seeking to understand how it behaves in media contexts and what elements compose it. Thus, using the 4D methodology, a motion graphics piece was built, taking as a theme one of the characters from Amazonian folklore, developing an entirely visual narrative, seizing the communication advantages in animation and design.
