The tDCS technique has been widely studied over the past few decades and has shown promise in the treatment of a variety of neurological and psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, movement disorders, and traumatic brain injuries. Objective: The objective is a systematic review protocol. Methodology: This is a review protocol that will be registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO) with the registration number and will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA-P) . This systematic review protocol should include studies based on population, type of study, intervention and results following the PICO framework. Population “Population” (P): patients with mental disorders, Intervention “Intervention (I): tDCS, Comparator “Comparison” (C), placebo group, Outcome “Outcomes” (O), improvement of the clinical condition. Randomized clinical trials with a score of 6 on the PEDro scale will be included in this study, containing samples composed of individuals of both sexes with no age restrictions. Introdução: A Estimulação Transcraniana por Corrente Contínua ETCC, também conhecida como tDCS (do inglês, transcranial direct current stimulation), é uma técnica de estimulação cerebral não invasiva que utiliza corrente elétrica de baixa intensidade para modular a atividade neuronal em áreas específicas do cérebro. A técnica de ETCC tem sido amplamente estudada nas últimas décadas e tem mostrado promessa no tratamento de diversas condições neurológicas e psiquiátricas, incluindo depressão, ansiedade, dor crônica, distúrbios do movimento e lesões cerebrais traumáticas. Objetivo O objetivo trata-se de um protocolo de revisão sistemática. Metodologia Trata-se de um protocolo de revisão será registrado no International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO) com o número de registro e será conduzido de acordo com as diretrizes do Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA-P). Este protocolo de revisão sistemática deverá incluir estudos com base na população, tipo de estudo, intervenção e resultados seguindo a estrutura PICO. População “Population” (P): pacientes com transtornos mentais, Intervenção “Intervention (I): ETCC, Comparador “Comparison” (C), grupo placebo, Desfecho “Outcomes” (O), melhora do quadro clínico.
