In this study, the relevance of family participation in the first stage of Basic Education during emergency remote teaching, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, was investigated. The analysis used the integrative review method, carried out through Google Scholar searches, resulting in articles published in Portuguese between 2020 and 2022. The descriptors used were Emergency Remote Teaching, Early Childhood Education and Family-School Relationship. The analysis revealed that, during this period, there was a need to strengthen the partnership between the family and the school to ensure the full development of the child. The school assumed the role of providing activities, guiding families about their realization and understanding the socioeconomic context in which children and their families were inserted, aiming to promote acceptance. In turn, the family needed to maintain a connection with the school, actively contributing to this process and playing its mediating role, emphasizing the importance of social interaction for the integral development of children in kindergarten. |
