The digitization of documents has become an increasingly relevant and necessary practice in the digital age. The transition from physical documents to digital formats offers a series of benefits, such as greater accessibility, ease of storage, quick retrieval of information and long-term preservation. This study aims to learn about the impacts generated by digitizing documents at Amazonprev, in order to present the advantages and challenges arising from this transition to the digital environment at the Foundation. Through qualitative and descriptive research, the methods used were bibliographical research on an electronic site and a questionnaire applied online to respondents. In the course of the research, among the results it can be obtained that digitization made the work more productive agility in meeting the demands of users and the foundation itself, in addition to also having consequences in possible hacker invasions to the used systems. And with the reported digitization activities carried out by the Fundação Amazonprev, this research seeks to contribute to scientific studies on the subject and that can serve as a model for other institutions, improving archival practices in the region.
