In Brazil, livestock plays an important role within agribusiness, generating income for families, with good results, it is economically and socially important. Within this scenario, family livestock is responsible for part of this result, with the generation of opportunity and employment. The general objective of the research was to carry out a diagnosis of family livestock in the settlement of Vila Amazônia in the municipality of Parintins, Amazonas. The research was semi-structured, with the application of a questionnaire, with 129 questions, with the topics addressed in this questionnaire being data on the family producer, mobility, family composition, monthly family income, social aspects, health situation, infrastructure, associative life, environmental and agricultural production diagnosis, agricultural production, property infrastructure and labor agricultural defensives, for surveys of the diagnoses of these family properties. According to the questionnaire, 63.63% of the people interviewed did not complete elementary school, 13.63 completed elementary school, 9.09 did not complete secondary education, 9.09 completed higher education and 4.54 completed secondary education. In the properties visited, 44% develop poultry, 20% of respondents develop a partnership with Fazenda Luiz de Medeiros, Federal University of Amazonas, and the Government of the State of the Amazonas cattle breeding and 14% of these work with pig farming. But in relation to the technical assistance received, 45.85 of the producers do not receive any type if assistance, 33.33% of them receive some type of assistance from the National Rural Learning Service (SENAR), 12.5 of them receive assistance from IDAM and 8.32 of them receive assistance on their own. Therefore, this scenario that family livestock in the Settlement of Vila Amazonia is in, it is necessary to have public policies that meet the needs of the people with a field and, together with the extension technicians, promote improvements in these families will be met and social life. |
