The technique of data collection was the application of structured interview through an online questionnaire developed in the Google Forms tool with open and closed questions, the participants of the research are 6 teachers of Physical Education of public and private school in the city of Manaus. In this sense, the objective of this study was to investigate if the teachers of Physical Education of public and private school in the city of Manaus apply the concepts/ fundamentals of Biomechanics in their classes. Thus, it was necessary to analyze whether teachers in Physical Education attended the discipline of Biomechanics in graduation, participated in courses or events with this theme, analyze whether the principles/ foundations of Biomechanics are applied during their professional practice, To verify which the contents applied by teachers in their classes are related to Biomechanics and to understand the universe of Biomechanics in School Physical Education. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The results obtained highlight that most of the teachers attended the discipline in graduation, participation in events with this theme no teacher participated in Biomechanics congress and as the applicability all affirmed to teach the concepts/ biomechanical principles in their pedagogical practice and cited content as an effect of mechanical force exerted on the body, movement analysis, anthropometric evaluation, correction of. Thus, it is concluded that this study contributed to expand the production of new scientific knowledge about Biomechanics in the school field, it can be said that it is the principle of an important discussion to qualify the teaching practice in Physical Education. It is emphasized the need to carry out new studies with a larger sample number to expand the possibility of discussion about the applicability of Biomechanics in School Physical Education. Thus, it is concluded that this study contributed to expand the production of new scientific knowledge about Biomechanics in the school field, being this study the principle of an important discussion to qualify the teaching practice in Physical Education. It is emphasized the need to carry out new studies with a larger number of participants to expand the possibility of discussion about the applicability of Biomechanics in School Physical Education. Abordar a aplicação da Biomecânica nas aulas de Educação Física Escolar é uma tarefa desafiadora, porém de fundamental importância em virtude desta disciplina fornecer subsídios para prática dos docentes durante a análise, orientação, correção, prevenção de lesões e compreensão dos movimentos nas diversas modalidades esportivas e lúdicas. A técnica da coleta de dados foi a aplicação de entrevista estruturada por meio de questionário online elaborado na ferramenta Google Forms com perguntas abertas e fechadas, os participantes da pesquisa são 6 docentes de Educação Física de escola pública e privada da cidade de Manaus. Neste sentido, o objetivo do presente trabalho foi investigar se os docentes de Educação Física de escola pública e privada da cidade de Manaus aplicam os conceitos/fundamentos de Biomecânica em suas aulas. Com isso, foi necessário analisar se os docentes em Educação Física cursaram a disciplina de Biomecânica na graduação, participaram de cursos ou eventos com essa temática, analisar se os princípios/fundamentos de Biomecânica são aplicados durante a sua prática profissional, verificar quais os conteúdos aplicados pelos docentes em suas aulas são relacionados a Biomecânica e compreender o universo da Biomecânica na Educação Física Escolar. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva de natureza qualitativa. Os resultados obtidos ressaltam que maioria dos docentes cursaram a disciplina na graduação, quanto a participação em eventos com esta temática nenhum docente participou de congresso de Biomecânica e quanto a aplicabilidade todos afirmaram ensinar os conceitos/princípios biomecânicos em sua prática pedagógica e citaram conteúdos como efeito de força mecânica exercida sobre o corpo, análise de movimento, avaliação antropométrica, correção de postura e dos movimentos esportivos para prevenir lesões entre outros. Desta forma, conclui-se que este estudo contribuiu para ampliar a produção de novos conhecimentos científicos sobre a Biomecânica na vertente escolar, sendo este estudo o princípio de uma discussão importante para qualificar a prática docente na Educação Física Escolar. Ressalta-se a necessidade de realizar novos estudos com um número maior de participantes para ampliar a possibilidade de discussão sobre a aplicabilidade da Biomecânica na Educação Física Escolar. 1 No momento não tenho nenhuma sugestão devido não ter encontrado nenhum tipo de dificuldade para arquivar o documento, as explicações são bem detalhadas, não restando nenhuma dúvida quanto ao processo de arquivamento.
