Resumo:
The present study aims to understand resilience in small businesses within the smartphone sales sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. This global crisis caused economic imbalances, significantly impacting small and medium-sized business. As the pandemic highlighted disparities, especially in developing nations, resilience and adaptability emerged as crucial factors for business survival. By analyzing interviews with small business owners, we observed that psychological resilience played a key role in overcoming adversities. Entrepreneurship and resilience were found to be deeply connected, with entrepreneurs showing a remarkable ability to face challenges and adapt to a constantly changing market. Resilient traits, such as learning and adaptability, proved to be essential for businesses survival and growth. Furthermore, the research emphasizes the importance of family resources as financial support during times of crisis.
