The mathematics subject of the new high school in force, according to the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), establishes the fundamental competencies and skills that students must develop throughout Basic Education in Brazil. In the case of Mathematics, the regulations define the learning objectives that must be achieved by students. The present work aimed to identify the challenges of the new secondary education in the teaching of mathematics according to the BNCC through bibliographical research, data was collected from each article to understand and have a critical view and, thus, an analysis of the BNCC competencies and skills related to mathematics and proposed strategies to deal with the challenges of the new secondary education in relation to mathematics were identified according to the document. |
