Every year we encounter recurrent cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents in Brazil. Against this background, the present study aims to address the role of Manaus/AM schools in combating and preventing cases of sexual violence against children and adolescents. The use of bibliographic, exploratory, qualitative and documentary research was chosen to achieve the objectives now stipulated. This text is justified by the persistence of cases of sexual violence against children's bodies and by the understanding that the school environment is favourable for actions to combat and prevent it. In view of this, it is concluded that the school as guarantor of the fundamental rights of its educators and promoter of a more egalitarian and just society, must be permeated by effective actions to confront sexual violence, which affects both our students. |
