The object of this course conclusion work consists of the elaboration of a theoretical study and the conception of a preliminary project intended for the Restoration of the Old Cine Éden, located in the heart of Manaus, with a focus on revitalizing this iconic street cinema.
The Cine Éden is seen as an intrinsic element of the urban landscape, a public facility that seamlessly integrates with the urban and cultural environment of the city. This vision includes the restoration of Cine Éden, housing not only cinema halls but also a diverse cultural program.
Furthermore, a thorough study and detailed diagnosis of the intervention area and its surroundings were carried out. This in-depth analysis of the region has allowed us to understand the specific needs and demands of the location, ensuring that the proposed restoration is sensitive and responsive to the surrounding characteristics. Related projects on the topic were also examined, serving as valuable references for the project's design, providing a contextualized and consistent approach.
