This work presents discussions on the perspectives and challenges regarding CTSA
(science, technology, society and environment) in Physics teaching. The research had as
objective to discuss the origins of the STS (science, technology and society) and CTSA approach, its implementation in basic education, its impact on understanding
of Physics, its convergences with the BNCC (National Common Curricular Base) and teaching strategies for the integration of CTSA. Based on documentary research
focused on the scientific production of articles, annals, periodicals and books. The analyses
These sources allowed us to reflect on various aspects of the subject, including that
teacher training represents one of the biggest obstacles to implementation
of this approach. As a possible solution, we propose that educators have a
continued training. In order to promote the development of critical skills
students and make classes more motivating. |
