Its general objective is to highlight the main aspects of the social worker's intersectoral work in accessing the rights of the elderly in primary health care, and its specific objectives are: a) to identify the most recurrent health demands of the elderly seen in primary care; b) to point out the specialties of the social worker's professional work in enabling the rights of the elderly in health policy; c) to highlight the main aspects of the social worker's intersectoral work in Primary Care in accessing the rights of the elderly in Parintins/AM. In order to achieve the general objective, the methodology used for data collection was bibliographical and documentary research, as well as the collection of information provided by Social Work professionals working in Primary Care in different spaces, such as: lectures, digital newspapers and others. The Primary Care data came from a lecture given by a social worker from the Tia Leó Basic Health Unit (UBS Tia Léo). As a result, it was possible to understand the elderly person as a complex subject who requires a more specialized intervention. In addition, it is important to highlight, based on the results obtained, that care for the elderly in this health unit does not take place in an isolated and individualized manner, and therefore it is clear that intersectoral action is indispensable in the professional's interventions. Este trabalho aborda o trabalho do Serviço Social na área da saúde, com ênfase na atividade intersetorial na Atenção Primária à Saúde e o acesso aos direitos da pessoa idosa. Tem como objetivo: evidenciar os principais aspectos do trabalho intersetorial do(a) assistente social no acesso aos direitos da pessoa idosa na atenção primária de saúde, e com ao seguintes objetivos específicos: a) Identificar as demandas em saúde mais recorrentes dos idosos atendidos na atenção primária; b) Apontar as especialidades do trabalho profissional do(a) assistente social na viabilização dos direitos dos idosos na política de saúde; c) Destacar os principais aspectos do trabalho intersetorial do(a) assistente social na atenção primaria no acesso dos direitos da pessoa idosa em Parintins/AM. Para alcançar o objetivo geral, utilizou-se a metodologia para a coleta de dados a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, bem como a coleta de informações disponibilizadas por profissionais de Serviço Social atuantes na Atenção Primária em distintos espaços, tais como: palestras, jornais digitais entre outros. Os dados da Atenção Primária, advieram de uma palestra proferida por uma assistente social da Unidade Básica de Saúde Tia Leó (UBS Tia Leó). Como resultado, as falas advindas das exposições colhidas da profissional em articulação com o referencial teórico adotado, foi possível compreender a pessoa idosa como um sujeito complexo, o qual demanda uma intervenção mais especializada.
