Motivating and ensuring the satisfaction of all individuals within public organizations are favorable conditions for the functioning of these public bodies. Interns are included in this human capital capable of contributing to the development of these institutions, so their experiences are important for achieving the objectives of all subjects involved in this relationship. Therefore, the objective of this research was to evaluate the motivation and satisfaction of interns studying the administration course at the Federal University of Amazonas in public institutions located in the city of Manaus. For this purpose, qualitative research of a descriptive nature was carried out, the information was collected through interviews with students from the administration course at the Faculty of Social Studies at UFAM, whose data were treated by content analysis. The results point to favorable motivations and satisfactions for the majority of students interviewed, resulting from various measures adopted within the organizational environment of public institutions that received students from the Administration Course to carry out their internships. Furthermore, students highlight the importance of aligning the course curriculum with what public institutions expect from these interns, so that the internship experience is convenient for all parties. |
