Integrative and Complementary Practices are offered by the Unified Health System and work on knowledge and treatment of diseases through ancient traditional methods that have been gaining international recognition by the most diverse Regulatory Bodies. That said, there is a need to create a space so that such practices can be offered more easily and their institutional infrastructure can be legitimized in the city of Manaus. A necessidade de recuperação, manutenção e renovação da saúde é uma das bases para o oferecimento de métodos medicinais, tecnológicos ou não, que são institucionalizados por leis e decretos para a melhoria da qualidade de vida da população brasileira. As Práticas Integrativas em Saúde são oferecidas pelo Sistema Único de Saúde e trabalham no conhecimento e tratamentos de doenças através de métodos tradicionais milenares que vêm ganhando reconhecimento internacional pelos mais diversos Órgãos Regulamentadores. Portanto, nota-se a necessidade da criação de um espaço para que tais práticas possam ser ofertadas com mais facilidade e seja legitimizada a sua infraestrutura institucional na cidade de Manaus.
