Resumo:
The understanding of Global Solar Radiation and its components, Direct and Diffuse Radiation, plays a significant role in meteorological studies. Reliable data is essential for supporting climatic analyses and decision-making in this field. Due to the limited availability of meteorological stations in Brazil, there is a growing use of reanalysis data. This research aimed to validate reanalysis data from ERA5LAND using surface data collected for the municipality of Humaitá-Amazonas. In this study, ERA5LAND reanalysis data were compared to surface station data using descriptive graphs generated in Python. The performance evaluation of the reanalysis data included statistical analyses such as MAE, RMSE, R², among others. The Radiation values obtained through ERA5LAND reanalysis, when compared to surface station measurements, exhibited overall satisfactory levels, with the most significant correlations observed for Global Radiation. The analysis revealed a high correlation of 93% for global solar radiation, while for direct and diffuse radiation, the correlation remained above 70%. These results validate the reliability of data obtained through ERA5LAND reanalysis, providing a solid foundation for future meteorological studies and the development of alternative energy sources.
