This work seeks to analyze the behavior of crime in the state of Amazonas in comparison to socio-economic development, through a methodology for measuring criminal activity in the municipalities of the state in question, through the combination of different types of criminal occurrences in a time series that covers the years 2017 to 2022. For the study, a Bayesian spatio-temporal model was used, which generated results in the search for measuring crime through the formulation of an index for the region, seeking to contemplate the specific gravity of each crime and represent a simple interpretability to enable the establishment of the correlation with the economic development of the state in this period.
