Resumo:
This work addresses the context of Rural Education in the municipality of Parintins/AM, focusing on the structuring of schools in the Agrovila do Caburi. Methodologically, the research was designed based on a literature review, using already produced works, as well as dissertations, theses, articles, and other scientific productions related to the theme. The objective of this work is to examine the challenges faced by the school community of Agrovila do Caburi/Parintins/Amazonas, based on the experiences lived in the region's educational institutions. To this end, it is intended to identify the working conditions of professionals working in schools and to verify the performance of the public power in the face of the demands of the school community. Rural education has gained space on the public agenda of the most diverse state spheres, after several motivated debates. In the Amazon, it is still popularly mentioned as rural education, mainly when we have rural communities as a reference. Based on this work, the reality of rural schools is described, highlighting their potentialities and weaknesses, as well as the main demands that indicate the intervention of the public power.
