This article aims to address the public policy scenario in the context of bioeconomy, focusing on the perspectives of key government institutions in the state of Amazonas. The study seeks to understand the current scenario and the possible challenges related to the implementation of these policies. This research is based on a qualitative approach, in which interviews were conducted with representatives of bodies linked to the Government of the State of Amazonas, whose perceptions collected, through interviews, were analyzed using the IRaMuTeQ software, allowing to identify patterns of words and themes applicants mentioned in the interviews. The results allowed obtaining a broader view of the bioeconomy in Amazonas, which confirmed the hypothesis that, from the point of view of the interviewed actors, public bioeconomy policies in the State of Amazonas are still insufficient for its promotion.
